What are Panchakarma Retreats
In easy words, we can say that panchakarma retreats are a program/ treatment that is based on ayurvedic principles. It helps us to rejuvenate our body, soul and mind. These retreats are done in different ways, based on an individual’s doshas and body’s requirements.
In Ayurveda, curing diseases using Ayurvedic herbs and treatments is known as the panchakarma treatment or therapies.
Since when we are using Ayurvedic Panchakarma Treatment?
This question raises a deep curiosity within our mind and soul, craving for an answer. As per our earliest written references about panchakarma is found in ayurvedic texts, such as Chakra Sahita.
Panchakarma is one of the best therapy sessions used in ancient India. In our scriptures, Panchakarma is mentioned as a pathway for a better life. In ancient India, Panchakarma treatments were used on a daily basis, that is why when we read our holy scriptures– we find that our sages used to live for hundreds of years.
Panchakarma is a correct order of therapies that is used to remove the disorder. Our body is made of five basic elements, known as Earth, sky, water, fire and air. These five elements of our body are in the correct order. But due to negativity, junk consumption, etc. When this order gets affected, it becomes a disorder for us

What are Doshas in Ayurveda
Vatta, Pita and Kapha are known as the main pillars of the human body. They form the life of an individual. We are all made up of these three elements. But what are they actually? We break it down for you in easy and simple words.

Vatta
All our problems are connected with these doshas. If any individual has dry skin, a thin frame and high energy levels, they are most likely to have a Vata Dosha.
If these three elements are balanced in our body, that means we are living an ordered lifestyle. But once these elements become imbalanced, we start facing problems.
By analysing physical features and traits of any individual, we can identify their dominant dosha and start working on it. These doshas are cured by ayurvedic treatment.

Pitta
Pitta emphasises the transformative nature of fire energy in our body. Any individual with a dominant pitta dosha, can face various problems; such as digestion and transformation-related problems.
Our pitta is very closely related to intelligence and understanding. It also governs our body temperature, emotions, digestion and metabolism.

Kapha
Our Kapha dosha is associated with the earth and water elements. If your kapha is balanced, then you will have a maintained immunity, moisturised skin, protected tissue and hydrated cells.
Usually these doshas become imbalanced due to our bad diet and unhealthy lifestyle. And once these doshas become aggravated, they start affecting the body in its own way.
That’s why it is always suggested in Ayurveda to follow a sattvik diet and a balanced lifestyle for a happy and healthy life.
Ayurvedic Panchakarma Treatment– Process of Rejuvenation
Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatment is a process of therapies that makes us youthful again. In ayurvedic panchakarma treatment, rejuvenation refers to the process of refreshing your body, soul and mind.
It removes toxins from your body with the help of ayurvedic therapies and medicines, such as herbal teas and oils. This ayurvedic panchakarma treatment is known to a huge number of people. Especially by those who believe in holistic and ayurvedic healing from their doshas.
