From our 21 days trip in Northern India the two best experiences were the Panchakarma retreat at Amanthrit center up in the hills above Rishikesh and the welcome heritage Natraj in McLeod Ganj. AMANTRHIT center was clean and quiet which is a luxury in India. The Doctor, the massage staff and both Clélia the French yoga teacher and the local teachers of yoga, Reiki, sound healing, etc proved to be professional. Last comment with Aman you get what is promised. No bad surprises. Those of you that have booked hotels through booking.com will understand my comment.

I did a 10 day detox organized by my wonderful yoga teacher Clélia. It was really incredible. Aman and all the staff were so very kind and attentive. We stayed above Rishikesh in the mountains and it was beautiful. We had the birds singing during the morning yoga sessions. The Ayurvedic docteur, Dr Rawat, was amazing and very kind. The experience has given me motivation to continue yoga and put into practice the advice of the doctor. The massages and treatments were very relaxing also. I recommend this place!

A truly rejuvenating first Ayurvedic retreat!

A hotel nestled on a mountainside, surrounded by nature, with magnificent views (note: short but fairly steep climbs to reach the different parts of the hotel).

Discovery of Ayurvedic treatments (2 per day), performed by experienced and caring massage therapists.

Varied and delicious vegetarian meals.

The hotel staff were attentive and responsive.

The Amanthrit staff were present every day to meet our needs and desires.
Special mention to Dr. Prateek, who provided lifestyle advice, suggested nutritional supplements, and ensured regular follow-up.

I went to a meditation retreat at Amantrhit Wellness Retreat Center. I stayed here for 1 week, and it is very restful place. The meditation sessions were organized. We practiced breathing techniques, guided mindfulness, silent meditation, and guided yoga asanas, which helped me sort out my thoughts. After the retreat, I felt more relaxed, mentally clearer, balanced and active my body.

I spent two weeks at Amantrith Wellness Resort completing the full 14-day Panchakarma program, and it was an excellent experience. My 28-day solo retreat at Amantrhit in Rishikesh was a transformative experience. Escaping my hectic day-to-day life, I found the space to heal and reflect.

From the start, the staff and practitioners were incredibly kind and accommodating, paying attention to every detail, including my food preferences. This nurturing atmosphere made me feel truly cared for.

The retreat's flexibility allowed me to tailor my schedule to my needs, promoting personal growth and exploration. Highlights included excursions to Vashista Gufa and Jesus Cave on the banks of the Ganga, where clambering on rocks against the Himalayan backdrop was both exhilarating and grounding.

While I cherished my solitude, I also made wonderful friendships. Exploring local markets and dressing in a saree added an enriching cultural layer to my experience.

It was a great experience with Amantrhit in their 21 days Ayurvedic Retreat. I work in the IT sector in Canada and the daily deadlines and tasks become very hectic, I started feeling stressed and burnout. Then I planned to go out and experience something in healing. After searching I found Amantrhit and they helped me a lot to plan my retreat in a beautiful way. I experienced Ayurvedic therapies which helped me to heal my body, yoga & meditation to connect with my inner self. The amazing session was sound healing that took me to another world and I felt so calm and relaxing, I forgot all my work tensions and office work load.
